April 17th - 12th and Porter Show

Michael and Steve have known each other for several years – but never talked much about music. Until recently that is…

These days, Michael owns and operates a trucking company and Steve a mortgage company. But each of them were once deeply involved in the music business. One day this winter, they were hanging out together cooking venison, smoking cigars, watching football, and drinking beer.  The topic of music came up and they both wondered why they never played any songs together. Well, that night did not end until about 3 am.

A month later, they were in Memphis on Beale Street with some friends. On the top floor of a bar, they hatched a plan to play a show in Nashville. Now here we are – Michael will play one set of his songs and his own style of Louisiana Country Music, Steve will play one set of his American Music, and who knows—they might just quit their day jobs.
